The price of our puppies is $3000. A $500 Non-Refundable deposit is required to hold a puppy for you. We don't take deposits until the litter is born and are 3 days old to be sure we have a pup for you. All puppies will be sold as pets on a spay/neuter contract unless otherwise agreed upon to a show home. They will come with AKC papers, be microchipped, up-to-date with shots/worming and have their vet wellness check prior to leaving.
Our puppies are started off the right way with daily handing and are raised with us in our homes. We will continue to handle and socialize them so they are well started and confident before they go to their forever homes. We stand behind our puppies. The puppies will come with a three-year guarantee against hereditary diseases and hip dysplasia, and we will be here to help you with any questions you have after the puppy has gone to your home. We encourage keeping in contact and love receiving photos and any other stories/information you would like to share with us. For full contract information: click here

TESTIMONIALS FROM OUR PUPPY OWNERS

"He is doing SO well!! He really is the perfect puppy and we couldn't love him more. He is confident, adaptable, playful, loving, calm, super sweet, and amazingly smart. I took him to visit my mom at a nursing home, he calmly and quietly sat with her and loved on her. He wasn't at all afraid of the oxygen machine or a nebulizer, it was amazing. He is doing great with our other guys, the middle one is slowly getting used to him. Parker so much wants to be part of the big dog club, but is being patient while they adjust. Thank you, thank you for him!!!"

I truly appreciate everything Wispynook Poodles did to prepare our Xander Boy for his forever home. In my opinion they go above and beyond which is why I chose them even though they are located in Vermont and we are in Kansas. They hand picked him for our family and he is absolutely the perfect standard poodle us. Debbie and Dianne, thank you for all the advice along the way and I hope we have made you proud of the way we are caring for Xander and the life we are giving this precious pup. We love him to the moon and back! 05/21

Another update on Strauss! He's now 14.6 lbs. the entire vets office is in love with him and blown away by his fantastic breeding. One of the techs is really involved in poodles and owns many and was very impressed with his beautiful conformation, feet, and face. Everyone there now knows who Whispynook is . He's very healthy and we did his rabies shot today and will go back in 3 weeks for distemper! They are very very supportive of the limited vaccination plan!! His personality has really blossomed over the last week and he's turning out to be quite the wild man. lol
Yes it was really wonderful, one of the vet techs saw him and gushed over him. She was like, I saw that face and said to myself someone really knows what they're doing breeding!! And then she fell over when she saw him on the table and how beautifully cat like his little feet are.
I'm really pleased with him. We will be getting another one from you guys in the future, that decision has already been made!

PUPPIES FROM OTHER PAST LITTERS
Our puppies from past litters being trained, socialized and having fun learning about life!
Our puppies from past litters being trained, socialized and having fun learning about life!
UNEXPECTED SURPRISE!!
While whelping Tess’ 2020 litter, Debbie had a bit of a shock when she saw, through the sack as the cream puppy was being born, a black streak on her shoulder and down her leg! She knew that both lines were solid back for generations and couldn’t imagine how it was possible that this could have happened.
Dianne immediately started an internet search to see what she could find. She came across something that we never heard of but would explain the unusual marking. It was a piece on somatic mutations. After the litter was whelped and settled, Debbie posted a photo of our special girl and a link to the article on somatic mutations to the Facebook page, Coat Color and Genetics, asking for their input. We got hits immediately confirming that that is what she has.
This is not genetic like piebald which cause parti, so it cannot be passed on to future generations. She is cream and will only produce solid colors.
The somatic mutation works on cells early after conception; not on genes. It causes the cell to be a different color and can spread anywhere from a very tiny spot to a large area. Our girl got herself quite a nice patch.
Somatic mutation appears to be more common in Golden Retrievers but pretty rare in Standard Poodles.
